The fourth board meeting held at the Journal of Biomedical Research
September 24, 2012: The Journal of Biomedical Research held its fourth board meeting today at its Nanjing Office in China. Fourteen JBR editorial board members and the Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Qi Chen, President and Professor of Nanjing Medical University, attended the board meeting. Dr. Zou, director of the Journal Editorial Office, briefed the board members and Editor-in-Chief about recent progress at the Journal. The executive deputy editor-in-chief, Dr. Cui, updated the board members about efforts of the Journal editorial team since the last board meeting and talked about the prospect of the Journal and challenges ahead. Dr. Qi Chen emphasized the importance of effective implementation of existing measures to boost the international profile of the Journal and called on board members to provide greater support to the Journal. The board members were satisfied with the direction the Journal has taken and expressed their continued full support for the Journal so that the Journal can fully meet its expectations and realize its potential. The Journal is dedicated to publishing high-quality research in all areas of the biological and medical sciences and welcomes submission of manuscripts by scientists from all over the world and is now indexed/abstracted in CNKI, Index of Copernicus, Science Direct, and SCOPUS. The Journal will be made openly accessible in PubMed Central and readers can find our journal articles through PubMed beginning next year.
